Auto 1 – Automotive Locksmithing 1 (3Hr. 49 Min.)We have had many requests to make a course teaching the skills needed to be an automotive locksmith. This Course, Auto 1, is in response to those requests. Automotive locksmithing is a very large subject and it is not realistic to think that a person could watch a 45 minute course and begin working in this field. Consequently, this first course is nearly FOUR HOURS long.
We believe Auto 1 covers enough material that it will allow a person to get started working in this field. The course covers basic skills that apply to nearly every vehicle. You will also learn how to make the key from the VIN number.
Auto 2 (1 Hr. 59 Min.) — Continue training as an automotive locksmith. Auto 2 picks up where Auto 1 left off. Learn more advanced skills for making automotive keys.
Auto 3 — GM 6 Cut Locks (1 Hr. 58 Min.) – This course will focus on the 6 cut locks which were used by General Motors on the Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac.
