The most common garage door repairs include:

1. Spring Replacement: Garage door springs, either torsion or extension, are under a lot of tension and can wear out or break over time. Replacing these springs is a common repair.

2. Cable Repair or Replacement: The cables that assist in lifting the door can fray or snap, requiring repair or replacement.

3. Track Alignment: The metal tracks on which the door runs can become misaligned, bent, or obstructed, necessitating adjustment or repair.

4. Roller Replacement: Rollers can wear out, become noisy, or come off the track, and often need to be replaced to ensure smooth operation.

5. Sensor Adjustment or Replacement: The safety sensors at the bottom of the garage door can become misaligned or fail, needing adjustment or replacement to ensure the door closes properly.

6. Remote or Opener Issues: Problems with the remote control or the garage door opener itself, such as malfunctioning motors or circuit boards, often require troubleshooting or replacement.

7. Panel Replacement: Damaged or dented door panels may need to be repaired or replaced to maintain the door’s appearance and functionality.

8. Weatherstripping Replacement: The weatherstripping around the door can deteriorate over time, leading to drafts and water leakage, and may need to be replaced.

9. Hinge and Hardware Repairs: Hinges, brackets, and other hardware can wear out or break, necessitating repair or replacement to ensure the door operates smoothly.

10. Lubrication and Routine Maintenance: Regular maintenance, including lubricating moving parts and tightening hardware, is essential to keep the door functioning properly and prevent more significant issues.
